What happened: The Washington Mystics called on supporters to cast ballots on a WNBA All-Star "double vote day," when each submitted vote counts twice toward the tally. The team framed the push around its own players' All-Star candidacies and pointed fans to the official ballot.

Why it matters: All-Star selection drives national visibility and recognition for a franchise still finding its footing this season, and a strong fan turnout can lift borderline candidates into the conversation. The drive continues a sustained All-Star voting campaign the Mystics have been running in recent weeks.

What to watch: Watch for the next WNBA All-Star fan-vote update to see whether the double-vote push lifts any Mystics into the leading tier ahead of the voting deadline.
