0-4 Chargers float Khalil Mack on trade market

Has 3 sacks in 4 games at age 35

Wire Report IntelligenceUpdated 1h1 min read

What happened: Mack is a pending free agent in his age-35 season. The deadline sits about a month out with Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, the Rams, New England, New York and San Francisco listed as fits.

Why it matters: Los Angeles is winless through four games and could recoup value rather than lose him for nothing. Contenders need edge help with Brian Burns on injured reserve and Nick Bosa sidelined.

By the numbers: Mack has 3 sacks in 4 games this season after 32 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 12 games in 2025. Burns posted 67 tackles and 16.5 sacks in 17 games in 2025 before his Sept. 29 injured-reserve move. Crosby logged 73 tackles, 10 sacks and 1 interception in 15 games in 2025.

What to watch: Watch whether losses keep piling up into the deadline month. A modest price tag could accelerate talks with AFC and NFC contenders.
