How We Know What We Know

Wire Report's intelligence methodology

DATA SOURCES

We ingest signals from 9 sport server networks, monitoring X/Twitter feeds from beat reporters, team accounts, league officials, and insider sources every 3 minutes across NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, F1, MMA, Soccer, MLS, and WNBA.

INTELLIGENCE SIGNAL GENERATION

Our WireIntel engine processes raw data through a 6-stage pipeline:

1Signal detection2Entity resolution3Context enrichment4Hypothesis scoring5Action dispatch6Outcome tracking

Each signal receives a confidence score based on source reliability, historical correlation, and data freshness.

CONFIDENCE SCORING

Every signal we publish carries a confidence percentage. Here is what the ranges mean:

90-100%Confirmed

Multiple official sources corroborate. Highest certainty.

75-89%Strong

Reliable sources with historical correlation support the signal.

60-74%Moderate

Single source or limited historical data. Actionable with caution.

< 60%Early

Early signal, monitoring for confirmation. Not yet actionable.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We track every prediction and signal. Our rolling accuracy data is available on this page. When we are wrong, we own it.

TECHNOLOGY

Powered by WireIntel — a multi-vertical intelligence engine. Our sports intelligence runs the same pipeline architecture as our API change detection (intel.wire.report). The engine processes ~5,800 signals per cycle across all leagues.
