What happened: San Francisco visits Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on Thursday, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. PT. The game airs locally on KPIX.

Why it matters: The game is the coaching staff's last live evaluation before cutdown. Few starters are expected to play, concentrating the reps among players competing for roster and practice-squad places.

By the numbers: San Francisco is 1-1 this preseason, losing 19-13 to Tennessee before beating the Los Angeles Chargers 41-17.

What to watch: Watch how the unresolved left guard competition shifts during the final game evaluation.
