What happened: San Francisco ruled Evans out for the remainder of the game. Coach Kyle Shanahan said the Achilles soreness matched what Evans managed in practice all week. Shanahan said he did not expect Evans to need further testing.

Why it matters: San Francisco remains undefeated, increasing the cost of any extended absence at receiver. Evans produced 30 catches for 368 yards and 3 touchdowns across eight games in 2025.

What to watch: Practice participation later in the week will determine his availability on a managed workload.
