What happened: Las Vegas turned quickly to its next home playoff date after advancing out of the opening round earlier Saturday. The next confirmed stop in the bracket is Game 3 at The House, with tickets now available through the club.

Why it matters: The short turnaround matters because the Aces had to survive a full three-game first-round series before moving on. A home Game 3 would bring the semifinal back to The House as Las Vegas chases a fourth WNBA title in five years.

By the numbers: Las Vegas needed all three games to get through the first round. Semifinals Game 1 is scheduled for Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. PT before the series returns to Las Vegas for Game 3.

What to watch: Watch whether Sunday’s opener ramps up demand for the return date in Las Vegas. Game 1 is listed for NBC and Peacock.
