What happened: The carry came during Friday's final preseason game. Randall entered the night competing for the No. 3 running back role.

Why it matters: The run gave Randall another late evaluation rep before roster cuts. His physical running has been a recurring feature of training camp.

By the numbers: In his preseason debut, Randall ran 12 times for 46 yards and a touchdown.

What to watch: The next checkpoint is whether Randall makes the 53-player roster after the Aug. 30 deadline.
