What happened: A'Ja Wilson scored 27 points against the Lynx to pass Candace Parker for 11th place on the WNBA's all-time regular-season scoring list. The MIN-LVA matchup aired on CBS and Paramount+.

Why it matters: Wilson is the second scorer this season to move past Parker on the list, following Breanna Stewart's climb past Parker for 10th in July. The milestone adds to Wilson's case as one of the league's most complete players this season, combining scoring volume with defensive production.

By the numbers: Wilson had 19 points before halftime on 9-of-12 shooting and reached 600 career blocks earlier Sunday, becoming the sixth WNBA player to hit that mark.

What to watch: The Aces and Lynx continue their matchup with Wilson's scoring total climbing further up the all-time list.
