Why it matters: The return strengthens Cook's case for a roster spot before the 2026 season. Late-August performances carry added weight with preseason cutdowns approaching.

By the numbers: Cook's return covered 100 yards. He recorded 45 tackles, six pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery during the 2026 UFL regular season.

What to watch: Watch whether Cook receives another defensive opportunity before final roster decisions.
