What happened: Alex Wilson knocked down a 24-foot three-point jumper with 4:34 remaining in the first quarter, assisted by Kiki Iriafen. The made shot pushed the score to 18-13.

Why it matters: Early three-point efficiency sets the tone for tempo and spacing in WNBA matchups. The Wilson-to-Iriafen connection signals a working two-player game that opponents will need to scheme against as the game develops.

What to watch: Watch whether the Wilson-Iriafen pairing continues to generate clean perimeter looks and whether the trailing side adjusts its closeout coverage in the second quarter.
