What happened: Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Dorian Finney-Smith will be held out for rest during Saturday's preseason game against Indiana. Keshon Gilbert is out with left patella tendinitis, while Mouhamed Gueye and Henri Veesaar remain sidelined with a fractured foot and a torn ACL respectively.

Why it matters: The scheduled rest allows the coaching staff to manage veteran workloads ahead of the regular season. The absences also open up rotation minutes for other players competing for roster spots in the exhibition matchup.

What to watch: The coaching staff will evaluate the available rotation players as the regular season approaches.
