What happened: The score extended the early lead to 10-0 in Saturday's preseason game. A 33-yard field goal accounted for the opening points.

Why it matters: The connection gave Allen and Coleman a live-game rep ahead of the 2026 regular season. Coleman also received a red-zone target from the starting quarterback.

By the numbers: Allen was 6-of-8 passing (75%) for 111 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions with 5:12 left in the first quarter.

What to watch: The next checkpoint is whether Allen and Coleman take additional preseason snaps before Week 1.
