What happened: Alperen Sengun recorded a preseason triple-double, sealing the milestone with an assist to Fred VanVleet. Sengun concluded the exhibition contest with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Why it matters: VanVleet is returning to the floor after missing all of last season with a torn ACL. The pairing rekindles a pick-and-roll connection that was absent during his recovery.

What to watch: Both players will continue to build chemistry ahead of the 2026-27 regular season.
