What happened: Alyssa Thomas accomplished a feat no other player duplicates.

Why it matters: Thomas recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists on July 22 for her 20th career regular-season triple-double. The performance secured an 86-82 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks.

By the numbers: Her 15 assists marked the seventh time she reached that threshold in a single game. That mark ties Courtney Vandersloot for the most such games in WNBA history.

What to watch: Thomas resumes action following the WNBA All-Star break.
