What happened: Cox closed Indiana's end-of-season press conference with a prepared statement saying, "The attacks on our fanbase have no basis in reality, and they need to stop." The remarks followed weeks of postseason scrutiny around Fever supporters.

Why it matters: The comments arrive just after Indiana's playoff exit shifted the franchise into offseason mode. They also put the front office on the record after fan criticism became part of the postseason conversation around the Fever.

What to watch: Watch whether team officials revisit the issue as offseason roster decisions take over the public discussion around Indiana.
