What happened: A Pro Football Network analyst urged Las Vegas to move Maxx Crosby ahead of the trade deadline. The argument centered on Crosby not fitting the Raiders' long-term future.

Why it matters: Moving a premier edge rusher would reset the Raiders' defensive core and timeline. A Crosby deal would also set the market for contenders shopping for pass rush before the deadline.

By the numbers: Per ESPN, Crosby made 73 tackles with 10 sacks and 1 interception in 15 games in 2025 with the Raiders. Drafted 106th overall in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Eastern Michigan.

What to watch: Watch whether Las Vegas engages suitors or holds Crosby through the deadline. The next week will show whether rival offers emerge.
