What happened: Angel Reese and Rhyne Howard's on-court connection from the FIBA Women's World Cup resurfaced. The two players linked up during the international tournament.

Why it matters: Reese and Howard logged four steals each in a defensive effort for the U.S. team in August. They also team up domestically for the Atlanta Dream. Atlanta recently reached the WNBA playoffs with Reese anchoring the defense.

What to watch: Reese and the Dream continue their WNBA postseason run.
