This is a crazy stat. Yolanda played until she was 39!!!! Via @howardmegdal on X

What happened: Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese recorded her 24th career game with 15 or more rebounds, matching Yolanda Griffith for fourth place on the all-time WNBA list. The achievement highlights the contrast in their careers, as Griffith played until age 39 while Reese reached the milestone in just her 75th professional game.

Why it matters: The milestone solidifies Reese's status as a dominant interior force since her blockbuster trade to Atlanta in April. The moved to favor the Dream as for tonight’s matchup against New York, reflecting the impact of her record-setting rebounding presence.

By the numbers: Angel Reese: 24 career games with 15+ rebounds (T-4th all-time). Career: 57 double-doubles in 75 games. Atlanta Dream: 8-3 record (2nd in WNBA).

What to watch: The Dream host the first-place New York Liberty tonight in a critical Commissioner’s Cup matchup.
