What happened: The Los Angeles Angels are leveraging 'star power' to drive engagement for the 2026 All-Star Game following the first official ballot update. The team is utilizing high-profile community crossovers and viral moments to encourage fans to vote for their top candidates as Phase 1 voting enters its final week.

Why it matters: The push comes as outfielder Mike Trout currently ranks third among American League outfielders in the first voting update, reflecting his status as a cornerstone of the franchise. While the Angels sit fifth in the AL West with a 29-44 record, the fan support remains a significant factor for the team's representation in the Midsummer Classic.

What to watch: Phase 1 voting concludes on June 25, when the top vote-getters advance to the final Starters Election. The Angels conclude their road series in Arizona on Wednesday.
