Anthony Davis is eligible for a 4-year, $276 million extension with the Wizards, according to Shams. @WindhorstESPN bre Via @ESPNNBA on X

What happened: The terms were outlined by WindhorstESPN following reporting from Shams. Washington carries Davis into the 2026-27 offseason on his current deal.

Why it matters: A four-year deal at that figure would set Washington's frontcourt payroll for the rest of the decade. The Wizards have held firm against trade interest around Davis this summer.

What to watch: Watch for whether Washington opens talks before camp for the upcoming season.
