What happened: Nolan Arenado hit a three-run home run for the Arizona Diamondbacks, cutting into the deficit and putting Arizona back in the game. The blast came in a contest still in progress.

Why it matters: The homer extends a power surge for Arenado, who went deep alongside Ketel Marte in a back-to-back-homer game against the Rockies just two days earlier. Arizona has leaned on his bat late in the season as it pushes for playoff positioning.

What to watch: Watch how Arizona's bullpen holds the margin the rest of the way as the Diamondbacks try to close out the game.
