Randy Arozarena gets it done year after year! 📊 https://t.co/pK9xhUXJZP Via @MLBNetwork on X

What happened: His 20th homer of 2026 completed the benchmark after he had already stolen 20 bases. It came one day after a leadoff shot, a home-run robbery and a two-run walk-off in a 5-4 win.

Why it matters: Arozarena became the fifth player in MLB history to produce at least six consecutive 20-20 seasons. Only three have sustained a longer streak.

By the numbers: Through Aug. 23, Arozarena was batting .275 with a .369 on-base percentage and an .836 OPS. Seven of his 20 homers came in August.

What to watch: The remaining schedule will determine how far Arozarena pushes both totals beyond 20.
