What happened: The New York Liberty announced their starting five, with Pauline Astier and Leonie Fiebich among the players listed. The lineup was posted ahead of the game.

Why it matters: The group keeps Leonie Fiebich in the starting unit, continuing a role she has held in recent New York lineups. Pauline Astier's inclusion among the openers carries weight as the Liberty prepare for a marquee stretch, with New York set to meet Las Vegas in the 2026 WNBA Commissioner's Cup Championship.

What to watch: Watch how the unit performs together from the opening tip and whether the same five holds for the Commissioner's Cup final against the Aces.
