What happened: Alex Golesh said Monday the program is still working through the matter. Auburn knocked off top-ranked Georgia in Athens without its starting linebacker. Golesh described the absence as an in-house matter before the game.

Why it matters: Golesh became the second Auburn coach since 1942 to beat Georgia while the Bulldogs entered No. 1. Auburn remains unranked after the road upset. Another win against a ranked LSU team would move Auburn into Top 25 conversation.

What to watch: Auburn hosts No. 18 LSU on Saturday. Golesh's next availability should clarify whether the linebacker is available.
