Audi brings Motorsport exhibition to Madrid for Sept. 9-12

My first proper night in Madrid - I stayed in the countryside when I went to the Jarama @FIAWEC race 37 years ago - and Via @adamcooperF1 on X

What happened: The 250-square-meter activation brings together four historic competition cars and a full-scale recreation of Madring's La Monumental corner. Admission is free, with capacity limited.

Why it matters: The exhibition opens ahead of Madrid's Sept. 11-13 Spanish Grand Prix weekend. Its lineup connects Audi's Auto Union, rally, Le Mans and Dakar history with the marque's Formula 1 program.

By the numbers: The exhibition runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. La Monumental measures 547.83 meters, reaches 24% banking and carries a projected entry speed above 300 km/h.

What to watch: The display closes Saturday, one day before the Spanish Grand Prix.
