What happened: Awa Fam came up with an emphatic block in Seattle's home matchup against Dallas, a defensive stand that stood out in a back-and-forth contest. The game went to overtime tied at 96, with Paige Bueckers scoring the Wings' final eight points of regulation to force the extra period. Dallas pulled away just enough in overtime to win 112-110.

Why it matters: The defeat keeps Seattle winless on the season, while Dallas extends its perfect start. For the Storm, Fam's defensive flashes are a bright spot in a young roster's rebuilding stretch, even as the team searches for its first win.

What to watch: Seattle will look to convert defensive moments like Fam's into a first win, while Dallas aims to protect its unbeaten record.
