UPDATES … VJ Edgecombe and Deandre Ayton (as well as 18-year NBA vet Eric Gordon) do not appear on The Bahamas’ 12-man Via @TheSteinLine on X

What happened: Both Deandre Ayton and VJ Edgecombe were included in the 24-player preliminary group announced in June. The final roster applies to this week's FIBA window.

Why it matters: The games count toward qualification for the 2027 FIBA World Cup. Bahamas enters Group F at 2-4, giving each remaining result immediate standings weight.

By the numbers: Edgecombe has averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game in the qualifiers.

What to watch: Bahamas opens second-round play Thursday. The next roster submission will determine whether either player returns in a later window.
