What happened: With the 69th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected Stanford tight end Sam Roush. The Bears acquired pick No. 69 from the Titans in exchange for No. 60 earlier today. This is Chicago's fourth selection after Thieneman in Round 1, Sadiq, and Iowa C Logan Jones at No. 57.

Why it matters: Roush provides the Bears with a potential pass-catching weapon at tight end for the upcoming 2026 season. Chicago continues building its roster through the draft following recent defensive additions. The selection fills a need at the position amid ongoing offensive line bolstering with Jones.

What to watch: Watch the Patriots at No. 95 overall after expressing interest in tight ends like Roush. Texans just selected Marlin Klein at No. 59.
