What happened: Buffalo's Week 4 meeting with New England is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ET on CBS. The divisional matchup arrives after New England's plan to sign Matt Pryor off Arizona's practice squad earlier Thursday.

Why it matters: Early October division games can start to shape the AFC East race before the schedule turns deeper into conference play. New England's move for Pryor points to immediate attention on protection and depth going into the Buffalo trip.

What to watch: Watch for final injury reports and any late-week roster moves before Sunday's kickoff. Buffalo's game-day inactive list will sharpen the matchup picture.
