What happened: The Buffalo Bills have ruled out defensive tackle Ed Oliver (knee) and wide receiver Joshua Palmer (shoulder) for Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Wide receiver DJ Moore is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury after participating in Saturday's practice wearing a non-contact jersey. Cornerback Dee Alford (ankle) and defensive lineman Landon Jackson (knee) are also questionable for the matchup.

Why it matters: The confirmed absences of Oliver and Palmer deprive the Bills of key starters on both sides of the ball ahead of a primetime road test. This marks the second game Oliver has missed this season, while Palmer will be sidelined for the first time. If Moore is unable to play, Buffalo's receiving corps will be significantly depleted against Los Angeles.

What to watch: Moore is expected to travel with the team to Los Angeles, allowing Buffalo additional time to monitor his recovery. A final determination on his status is expected before kickoff on Monday.
