What happened: Buffalo Bills safety CJ Gardner-Johnson was disqualified from Sunday's in-progress regular-season game against Las Vegas, per Adam Schefter.

Why it matters: The mid-game exit leaves Buffalo shorthanded in the secondary for the rest of the contest and removes Gardner-Johnson, who previously navigated an August injury scare, from the defensive rotation.

What to watch: Buffalo's reserve safeties take over coverage duties for the remainder of the afternoon as the team awaits postgame comment on the ejection.
