What happened: Upton spent eight seasons with Tampa Bay, including the 2008 trip to the World Series. The Game 6 meeting has not started at 0-0, and the Tampa Bay Rays lead the series 3-1.

Why it matters: The ALCS setting frames the pregame honor as part of a postseason home date. It links the current Tampa Bay group to the club's 2008 World Series team.

What to watch: The scheduled Game 6 start is the next live development to track.
