What happened: CEO David Feldman targeted Fenway Park for BKFC's debut in the state. The Aug. 29 card will place the ring over home plate.

Why it matters: The event will be Massachusetts' first regulated bare-knuckle boxing card, opening a new market for BKFC. Fenway, opened in 1912, gives the promotion a century-old major-league setting.

By the numbers: BKFC 92 comes eight years after the promotion held its first event in 2018. Its fights are scheduled for five two-minute rounds.
