What happened: Blake Wesley threw down a dunk following a steal and assist during preseason play.

Why it matters: Wesley, who remains outside standard and two-way contract slots entering his fifth NBA season, is ineligible for a two-way deal and requires an open standard roster spot.

What to watch: Preseason roster decisions will determine whether a standard contract slot opens ahead of the 2026-27 regular season.
