What happened: Sportsnet's @amato_mike raised the possibility that trade talk around Zach Werenski could pick up again amid the Blue Jackets' slow start.

Why it matters: Werenski previously expected trade speculation to persist until an extension. Columbus's early struggles give that question renewed relevance.

What to watch: Comments from Werenski or the Blue Jackets could clarify whether the discussion moves beyond speculation.
