What happened: Tom Bogert reported the plan for Cavan Sullivan to join Manchester City in January 2028 remains unchanged after he turns 18. Sullivan is focused on Philadelphia Union and the USMNT for now.

Why it matters: The unchanged timetable keeps any overseas move on its existing track rather than bringing it forward. That leaves his recent USMNT debut and Philadelphia Union duties as the immediate priorities.

What to watch: Watch Sullivan's next Philadelphia Union matches and the next USMNT window while the January 2028 path holds.
