What happened: Borussia Mönchengladbach have confirmed an agreed deal to sign forward Isac Lidberg from SV Darmstadt 98, per Fabrizio Romano. The fee is reported at €3.5m plus €1m in add-ons. Lidberg was pictured alongside Hasan Cetinkaya and sporting director Rouven Schröder as the move was finalized.

Why it matters: The deal formalizes the Lidberg-to-Gladbach agreement reported days earlier, adding attacking depth ahead of the 2026-27 Bundesliga campaign. For Darmstadt, the sale moves on one of their forwards at a modest fee, while Gladbach secure a Sweden international striker without a heavy outlay.
