What happened: Denis Bouanga scored as LAFC drew the San Jose Earthquakes 2-2 in a final on Saturday night. His goal moved him to the top of LAFC's MLS regular-season scoring list.

Why it matters: That gave LAFC an individual milestone on a night that still ended with the points split. Bouanga's place atop that club list gives the goal weight beyond a draw.

What to watch: LAFC now heads to its next regular-season match coming off a draw, with Bouanga carrying the club scoring mark.
