What happened: Brad Marchand is set to return to the lineup for the Panthers in their preseason matchup in Anaheim. Head coach Paul Maurice confirmed the forward is playing tonight.

Why it matters: Marchand is back on the ice ahead of the 2026-27 season after undergoing summer surgery. His former organization turned the page last month, as the Bruins named David Pastrnak team captain.

What to watch: Gustav Forsling remains a game-time decision for the scheduled contest, with Markstrom in the crease.
