What happened: Brandon Williams logged minutes for Golden State during Sunday's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Clippers in Hawaii. The guard made his first exhibition appearance since securing the team's 14th roster spot in late August.

Why it matters: The Warriors are evaluating backcourt depth behind Stephen Curry ahead of the regular season. Williams is competing for rotational minutes after head coach Steve Kerr recently likened his speed to Leandro Barbosa in camp.

What to watch: Golden State continues its exhibition slate as it finalizes the regular-season rotation.
