What happened: Manager Walt Weiss stated the Atlanta Braves will wait until Sunday to finalize their Game 2 starting pitcher. The decision centers on whether Chris Sale feels physically ready to take the mound.

Why it matters: The cautious approach allows the organization to assess Chris Sale's recovery following his Thursday relief appearance. Clearing the veteran left-hander for a postseason start would stabilize a rotation managing tight rest constraints.

What to watch: The coaching and medical staff will evaluate Sale on Sunday morning before officially naming a starter.
