What happened: The Milwaukee Brewers selected Trey Ebel in this year's draft, one season after taking his brother Brady Ebel. Their father, Dino Ebel, is the Los Angeles Dodgers' third base coach.

Why it matters: Back-to-back picks from the same family point to a scouting relationship Milwaukee has leaned on twice now. It also threads the Brewers' pipeline through the same Trey Ebel who trained with Platinum Glove winner Brice Turang ahead of the draft.

What to watch: Trey Ebel now joins Brady Ebel in the Brewers' system as both begin their pro development.
