What happened: The Denver Broncos activated wide receiver Pat Bryant from injured reserve on Saturday. Bryant was previously placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Why it matters: Head coach Sean Payton confirmed Friday that Bryant is in line to return to the active lineup against the Carolina Panthers. The move bolsters Denver's receiver depth following a 28-24 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.

What to watch: The Broncos visit the Panthers on Sunday, where Bryant is slated to make his game return.
