What happened: The Denver Broncos are altering their offensive process for Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head coach Sean Payton will take a heavier hand in play-calling, reclaiming primary duties from offensive coordinator Davis Webb.

Why it matters: The coaching shift follows a 24-14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers where the offense stalled and quarterback Bo Nix bypassed open throws. Webb had previously handled play-calling for the first time in Denver before this intervention.

What to watch: The collaborative offensive operation will be tested Sunday ahead of a looming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
