What happened: Denver elevated safety Taylor Rapp and defensive back Sean Fresch Jr. from the practice squad for Thursday night against Seattle. Rapp signed with Denver on Sept. 7 after recording 26 tackles in six games with Buffalo in 2025. Fresch, a rookie out of Rice, was also elevated Oct. 10.

Why it matters: The moves add secondary depth on a short week before a Thursday kickoff. Rapp brings veteran starting experience after entering the league as the 61st overall pick in 2019 out of Washington.

By the numbers: Rapp: 26 tackles in 6 games in 2025; drafted No. 61 overall in 2019. Fresch: rookie out of Rice; elevated Oct. 10 and again for Oct. 15 game.

What to watch: Active designations lock at inactives before kickoff in Denver. Watch how many defensive snaps Rapp takes in his debut.
