#Browns moves today: Eligible to return to practice: DT Kalia Davis (designated for return)
QB Dillon Gabriel (previous Via @RuiterWrongFAN on X

What happened: Kalia Davis was designated for return while Dillon Gabriel remains eligible to return to practice after his Aug. 30 designation. Cleveland signed WR James Proche II and DT Chris Williams to the practice squad and released RB Eric Gray and P Wes Pahl.

Why it matters: Gabriel's availability affects quarterback depth after his Aug. 30 injured-reserve stint following 937 yards in 2025. Davis gives Cleveland an interior defensive option while the Proche-Williams additions restock receiver and tackle depth.

By the numbers: Dillon Gabriel completed 110 of 185 passes for 937 yards with 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 10 games in 2025. Eric Gray returned 2 kickoffs for 41 yards in 4 games in 2025.

What to watch: Watch for practice participation and corresponding activation or roster moves for Gabriel and Davis.
