What happened: Cleveland values Shedeur Sanders' progress under Todd Monken and plans to keep its quarterback room intact for now. The club views the long-term starting question as unresolved.

Why it matters: Keeping the room together preserves continuity for a young passer still adjusting to Monken's system. It also avoids closing off options before Cleveland settles its long-term direction.

What to watch: Watch how reps and development split in the room from here. Any shift in trade posture will turn on clarity at the top of the depth chart.
