What happened: Cleveland is waiving tight end Dae’Quan Wright. If he clears waivers, he has an agreement to play for LSU in 2026, according to agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.

Why it matters: The arrangement could move Wright from an NFL roster to college football in the same year. His LSU agreement remains contingent on the waiver process.

What to watch: Waiver clearance will determine whether the LSU agreement can proceed.
