What happened: Tampa Bay's final report ruled out Baker Mayfield, Rueben Bain Jr., Ko Kieft and Benjamin Morrison ahead of Sunday's home game with Green Bay. Jalon Daniels is next up after Mayfield suffered the thumb injury last week against the Minnesota Vikings. The same Buccaneers team already drew division hype also got good news with Bucky Irving, Chris Godwin Jr., Yaya Diaby and Josiah Trotter all cleared without a game designation.

Why it matters: Mayfield threw for 3,693 yards with 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games in 2025, so losing him is not a small piece missing from the offense. If a roster with Irving and Godwin still feels this fragile because the backup is making his first start in Week 4, that is a warning sign about Tampa Bay's true tier. Green Bay is also missing Aaron Banks, Jacob Monk, Warren Brinson and Anthony Campbell, so this is still a game Tampa Bay should be built to handle better.
