What happened: The Dallas Wings noted that guard Paige Bueckers has recorded the fourth-most points by any player through her first 50 career games in WNBA history. The milestone underscores the scoring pace she has set in her opening run as a pro.

Why it matters: Reaching that tier so early places Bueckers ahead of the early-career scoring totals posted by several of the league's most decorated names. For a Wings team building around her, the production signals a franchise cornerstone delivering immediately rather than developing on a delay.

By the numbers: Through her first 50 games, Bueckers has outscored the comparable starts of A'ja Wilson, Elena Delle Donne, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Candace Parker and Caitlin Clark, trailing only the three players ahead of her on the all-time through-50 list.

What to watch: Watch whether Bueckers can keep the pace as defenses key on her and climb the through-50 leaderboard before the mark closes.
